Day 40

We didn't think we would be able to make it to Beirut until late tonight... but we were pleasantly surprised when Said offered to bring us back in the early afternoon. It was such a blessing because we were able to get most of our laundry done, purchase some groceries, and make baby food for the next couple of days. Diana, who we have been witnessing to and praying with, came by for a short while. The majority of the evening was spent studying our Arabic. We don't get much studying done in Tyre, so when we get back to Beirut it is time to cram.
Last night Noah stayed with us at the church. We are growing to love him more and more. The Lord has used him to bless us in so many ways. He has helped us with cultural issues and language barriers. He is a solid brother, who is brilliant and strong but very humble. Sean has so enjoyed being able to fellowship with him. So my prayer requests today are for Noah. Pray that the Lord would pour out His Spirit on him. Noah's chief desire is that the Lord would be glorified... and I pray that God would give him that desire. Pray that the Lord would guide him in every step as he strives to be obedient. More than anything... pray that the Lord would give Noah more of Himself. I would ask that you would pray that also for us.
