Still got a snotty little boy :o( .... we've been giving him medicine and nose drops. He seems to be feeling alright, but between the drool and the snot... you can't get near him without getting slimed! Which makes me think that maybe part of it could be teething, I don't know... I am so new at this whole mom thing! I just hope he gets better soon! Keep praying for him and for us that the Lord would give us discernment as new parents in a foreign country.
Monday is our day off, so with Isaiah sick we stayed in most of the day. I went out for just a bit to get some air. I went to a bookstore to look for a Lebanese cookbook and then walked down to starbucks. I cooked breakfast and dinner... getting more used to cooking and shopping.. but i still have a lot to learn. In the states I was very good with being a frugal shopper.. here I am still learning where to buy what and when. It's gonna take a while. But i'm trying!!! and i'm loving the process of learning! But that is another prayer request... groceries here are just about as expensive as in the states unless you really know which places to go. The little "markets" on the road are the cheapest but as a gringo.. I get charged more at those places. Sooo... pray that i would learn quickly... which brings me to the next subject...
Tomorrow we start our language classes!!!! Yeah!!!! It is so frustrating to not be able to communicate. Most people know at least some english... but i want to be able to communicate in arabic... even if it is broken arabic! at least i will have a starting point! So pray for Isaiah and pray for our language classes tommorrow.
Thank you for all your prayers! It is such a blessing to know that my brothers and sisters in Christ are keeping us lifted up in prayer. Love you guys!
By the way- Have i mentioned what a goofball Walid is? :o)

I will pray for you baby boy. I remember what it was like the first time Marya got sick. HE is building up his immunity. I can't wait to hear how your language class goes. Time to go back to school!!
