Day 11: Prayer request

Sean is on his way to church to preach in Tyre. I am staying home in Beirut with a sick little boy. Please pray for Sean as he preaches that the Lord would give him wisdom and strength. Also pray for me as I care for Isaiah and pray for Isaiah that he would start feeling better. He just has a cold... sneezing and coughing, no fever. Last night at the beach there were some little girls that wanted to play with Isaiah and they kept wanting to kiss him in the face, even in the mouth. They didn't speak any English and I don't speak any Arabic. It made me really uncomfortable, but I also didn't want to be rude. I smiled and tried to walk away, but they were quite persistent. I spoke with Walid about it this morning so that I would know how to be culturally sensitive but also protect my son. He was helpful, but it is still an uncomfortable situation, especially not knowing the language. I felt so guilty this morning when he woke up sick. Please pray that the Lord would give me wisdom and discernment in situations like these.
